SureHire explains Preventive Screening

Preventive screenings are a health care tool used to assist individuals and groups to identify and manage health risks. On an individual level, a person's physician may recommend screening for certain diseases to determine if the person is at risk for developing those conditions. For population risk management, preventive screenings can identify risk factors that are present in a group of individuals, or population. The primary goal of preventive screenings is to allow for early detection of diseases and conditions. This early detection allows preventative or mitigating measures to be taken to reduce the impact of the condition.

Cancer, high cholesterol, diabetes, and certain genetic diseases are just a few examples of the types of conditions that may be detected during preventative screenings.
